Rio has had a rough start to the year. He's been plagued by on and off ear infections for a few months now. It seems like he just gets over the last one before he's back shaking his head and rubbing his ears on the floor. I thought we were in the clear last week when he finished his last round of treatment and his ears looked perfect, only to come to find that he has a patch of scabes on his ear. FREAKING SCABES. What? How in the world? NOT GOOD. If this is anything like having a kid, I am in serious trouble because I am clearly not very good at this taking care of another life thing.
