Cell Phone Diary from Aguacate47 on Vimeo.
A few months ago, I read an article about Cooper, a cat from Seattle, whose owners had placed a camera around his neck. The camera was set to take pictures at regular intervals throughout the day. When the pictures came back, his owners were so surprised at how many places Cooper had visited and how many other cats he had met on his travels. Cooper is one of many cats (and at least one dog) who have participated in the CatCam Project. Needless to say, I loved the CatCam pictures that Cooper took. The idea to make a photo journal of my day came directly from Cooper and was facilitated by my new cell phone, which has a pretty decent camera.
When my alarm went off yesterday morning at 7:00 am, I started my photo journal without leaving the covers and continued to take pictures throughout the day. The pictures appear in chronological order. My phone is also an mp3 player and the song "Spaceman" by The Killers was pretty much on repeat for most of the day, so that's what I decided to set the video slide show to. Essentially, the video is exactly what my day was like yesterday, music and all. And yes, before you say it, I know alliteration is not spelled a-l-i-t-e-r-a-t-i-o-n.
